Kiev Ukraine

In 2014, Ukraine entered a crisis of its future and its identity.  Half the country looks to the West, the other half to the East.  This crisis exploded onto the streets of Kiev.  Having worked in the Ukraine during its post-Soviet transition I went back to visit the protest camp that had been set up in the city.  What I found was a scene closer to Stalingrad than Kiev.  The following week the streets were ablaze with violence and anger.
