Kleptomaniac of emotions
by Marco Carbocci
Documenting real life: in a world where we are bombarded with virtual reality and celebrity, spontaneity and reality are becoming sidelined.  That is the real challenge of street photography.  The art of street photography is to examine and celebrate real life.  Real life of course is a land not easily tamed.  To join the real world one must emerse oneself in it and seek interactions before tuning-in sufficiently to be able to capture its essence in stills. The street photographer is a kleptomaniac of the emotions. But this is not voyeurism: this is a desire to reach out and to show what everyday life contains.  The portfolio presented here has no other ambition than to wander into daily life and record it.
