As an artist she asks fundamental questions about reality such as, who are we, and how are we related to the cosmos? Underlying themes in her work are intelligence and nature, and a philosophy that collapses the dualism between science and spirituality. She believes photography, particularly abstract photography, facilitates abstract thought. "A Crack in the World" was published by Daylight Books in October, 2016. A solo exhibit accompanied the release at Krowswork, a gallery in Oakland, California. An image from the series also won Honorable Mention at PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris. Rajib has contributed to multiple citizen journalism sites such as Reuters Your View, Yahoo News, BBC Your View and others, along with national news dailies. Michelle Frankfurter To commission her or to request prints of her work: michellefrankfurterphotos.com Born in Jerusalem, Israel, Michelle Frankfurter is a documentary photographer from Takoma Park, MD. She graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in English. Before settling in the Washington, DC area, Frankfurter spent three years living in Nicaragua where she worked as a stringer for the British news agency, Reuters and with the human rights organization Witness For Peace documenting the effects of the contra war on civilians. In 1995, a long-term project on Haiti earned her two World Press Photo awards. Since 2000, Frankfurter has concentrated on the border region between the United States and Mexico and on themes of migration. She is a 2013 winner of the Aaron Siskind Foundation grant, a 2011 Top 50 Critical Mass winner, a finalist for the 2011 Aftermath Project and the 2012 Foto Evidence Book Award for her project Destino, documenting the journey of Central American migrants across Mexico. Her first book, Destino was published in September 2014 by Foto Evidence.

He is the author of Magic Party Place which has recently been shortlisted for the Aperture Paris Photo First Book Award 2016. Completed over the course of ten years, the book documents contemporary England, mapping the roots of Brexit in the process. His film Mother & Daughter won the inaugural BJP/Canon Open Shutter award. In parallel to Magic Party Place, CJ has been working on the project Loyalists about contemporary Northern Ireland. He specialises in exploring contemporary issues and presenting them in a thoughtful body of work. He credits his curiosity and love of adventure to his upbringing in a small village in the Austrian Alps surrounded by snow, rock climbers and artists. His move to New Zealand coincided with the birth of its most innovative photographic publication, New Zealand Geographic Magazine. He became its primary photographer. Malkin Steinberger's experience as a photographer and filmmaker was shaped by her studies in Italy, where she lived for ten years while launching a photography school and gallery. She has produced artists' books that are now part of the permanent collections of New York's Museum of Modern Art and The Whitney Museum of American Art, and The Art Institute and Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Malkin Steinberger's documentary films include Holi-days, which was shot in Jerusalem, Florence, and Las Vegas and aired on the Sundance Channel. She has published two books of her collaborations with renowned artist Alighiero Boetti. Deborah Feingold To commission her or to request prints of her work: www.deborahfeingold.com One of photographer Deborah Feingold's earliest darkrooms was actually a prison cell. After graduating from Emerson College in the early 1970's, she was awarded a grant to teach photography to troubled youth in a Boston prison, affirming her belief in the power of the camera as a tool for self-expression and communication and laying the groundwork for a decades-long career photographing the most prominent names in American culture. Feingold moved to New York City in 1976, where her relationship with a jazz musician inspired her to embrace a spirit of improvisation in her photography and led to her first major assignment: shooting jazz icon Chet Baker for the Artist House record label. Her work with Baker and others on the label caught the attention of Musician magazine, who hired Feingold as their New York liaison. Turning her small apartment into a makeshift studio (this time her shower stall served as the dark room) and freewheeling it on the unpredictable streets of New York, Feingold captured indelible images of some of the most legendary names in music, from B.B. King and James Brown to

He discovered photography at age fourteen during a family vacation in Spain; his favorite subjects were sun-bathing women on the Costa del Sol. In 2000, he enrolled in the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale to study photography, and after graduating, became a full time photographer. Since then, his work has been featured in editions of Vogue, The New York Times, Porter Magazine, GQ, Playboy, Esquire, Galore Magazine, Treats Magazine and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition among others. His advertising clients have included Levi's, Bonobos, Virgin Atlantic, Würth Group, A Pea in the Pod, The Related Group to name a few. Since 2001 his fine art photographs have been held in the permanent collections of 19 museums, including Smithsonian National Museum of American History, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, UCLA Hammer Museum, The George Eastman House, Denver Art Museum, and Santa Barbara Museum of Art, among others. He was the first to photograph the Holocaust Archives in Bad Arolsen, Germany: the project is in the permanent collections of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Yad Vashem in Jerusalem, The Jewish Museum- New York, The Jewish Museum Berlin, and Musée d’Art et d’Histoire du Judaïsme Paris, as well as others. He was educated in Photography at the Surrey College of Art and Design and at the London College of Communication where he studied for a post graduate degree in Photojournalism. In 2011 he founded Life Force magazine with his business partner and wife of 14 years, Alice. As well as Editing Life Force magazine, he is currently engaged in photographing a series of photo-essays on English culture and has recently returned to Afghanistan. He continues to have his work published in national and international newspapers and magazines including The Times, the Telegraph, the Express, the Observer, GQ, Esquire, Dazed & Confused,The Face, Country Life and Geographical magazine. In 2008 he started undertaking long-term documentary projects, the first of which Last Best Hiding Place is an alternative epic journey through the overlooked aspects of the American West over seven years, was published June 2015 to great acclaim. With another American series planned, Richmond decided that next he wanted to concentrate on a series in the West Of England, where he lives for most of the year. I have been documenting the night time of Kampala for few years. This project became a book called F**k It published by the Swiss based publisher Edition Patrick Frey in March 2016. It has been selected among the best photo books of 2016 by: Time magazine, Internazionale, Sleek-Mag. My editorial work has been published in The New York Times, The British Journal of Photography, Vice, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Businessweek, M magazine, Wired and others.

He is co-founder of crowd sourced activist initiative, The Rape in India Project (www.therapeinindiaproject.org/). He is co-founder and director of Just Another Photo Festival (http://www.justanotherphotofestival.com/), a guerrilla festival that democratizes visual media by taking photography to the people and forging new audiences.

Tierney Gearon To commission her or to request prints of her work: www.tierneygearon.com Born in Atlanta, GA, Tierney Gearon is an acclaimed Los Angeles based contemporary photographer, who has gained both critical and commercial recognition for her powerful and intense colorful photographs. Praise for her powerful and haunting images did not come to art through traditional means. Her life goal was always to be a mother. After being a model and commercial photographer for years, her marriage dissolved. She then turned her camera on her family. Through those images she acquired on different family trips around the world she was discovered by Charles Saatchi. She was thrust into the spot light in 2001 when her work was featured as one of the main photographers in the famed “I Am A Camera” exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in London. Her work became an overnight sensation when images of he children came under public scrutiny. Since her controversial debut, Gearon has been pushing the envelope of contemporary photography. “The Mother Project” and “Daddy, Where are you” both give the viewer an intimate look into Tierney’s relationship with her mentally ill mother, not only capturing the raw intensity but also celebrates her free spirit. In 2009, Gearon pushed her photography to a new zenith, double exposing film inside of

the camera to produce groundbreaking chance narratives in her work titled “EXPLOSURE”. Tierney has been exhibited at many prominent galleries and museums including, Gagosian Gallery, Yossi Milo, Ace Gallery, The Parrish Art Museum, Scottish National Portrait Gallery, and Phillips de Pury & company in London. Her most recent project, a 24 page feature of 13 Oscar Award winning woman titled “Hollywood Heroines”, was featured in the New York Times magazine. She will be previewing a new collection of works titled “Shape Color” at Paris Photo Los Angeles Photography Art fair at the end of April 2013. Damiani published a book of Tierney Gearon’s children’s photography titled ” the alphabet book ” in the Fall of 2013.

First photographs taken with a bakelite camera ( 6x9 cm) 1970s. Becomes a teacher of English and, at the same time, develops a deep interest in photography. Documents his environment, in particular the life of local kelp-gatherers whose activity will come to an end a few years later. 1981. Exhibition on Brittany at the Canon gallery in Paris. 1982. Starts work on Ireland. The project will be concluded in 1994. Some of this work will be shown in France and in Poland. 1986. Starts a project on Galicia, the so-called Celtic part of Spain. This work is still in progress and part of it was exhibited at Museo do Pobo Galego in Santiago de Compostela in 2012. 1993-2013. Work distributed by Agence VU in Paris. Has become a free-lance again and is currently organizing the work he has done over the past 46 years.

Books are Arno's favourite medium for exploring ideas and presenting a coherent body of work. Arno is the co-author of nine books, one of which, CENTRAL, won the illustrative category of New Zealand's prestigious 2004 Montana Book Awards. His work is widely exhibited in his new home of New Zealand as well as in Australia, Germany and France. Arno lives with his family in the subtropical rainforest of Titirangi, Auckland. When he is not working on location you may find him cycling in the Waitakere Ranges, chopping wood, gardening or building something.
