India is reeling under coronavirus pandemic; the first case was reported in the country on 30 January 2020.
The central government website claims a death toll of eight persons from different states and 467 affected by
coronavirus COVID-19.
The central and state governments in India are taking serious note and as part of their strategy to break the coronavirus
chain, a one day 'Janta curfew' was implemented by the Prime Minister of India, Sri Narendra Modi, urging fellow Indian
citizens to stay indoors between 7am to 9pm on 22nd March 2020.
I spent a day in and around Kolkata to capture its spontaneous effect.
