Inside, Outside by Oksana Yushko  Moscow A city is its people.  They come and crowd around you, make habitations in their own image and likeness. They create their own problems and then solve them. They construct their own special secret worlds. I reviewed the places where people live, their temporary ‘places to stay’, in the city where I live. To make the picture complete I decided to add another dimension to this story - views from the windows of those apartments or houses thus giving a view of Moscow from bothinside and out.   Milena 32, Elhan 31, Elya 4. The family has been renting an apartment in downtown Moscow for nine years. They dream of buying a flat but are prevented from doing so by high prices. Ninel Vladimirovna 78 has lived in Moscow since she was born. She inherited  the apartment from her husband. Andrey 47 has lived for four years in a building due to be demolished and is still waiting for a new apartment. Svetlana Sergeevna 69, Mihail Nikolaevich 69 are native Muscovites. Their daughter Natasha 35 lives next door and often comeS to visit them in their apartment. Kostya was born in Moscow 20 years ago.  He lives with his parents but they travel a lot so he often stays alone. Ira 30 and her mother live together in a dormitory area in Moscow. Yulya 41 lives with her three children (Polina 16, Liza 14 and Matvey 5) in a cooperative house in Moscow. Marina was born in Moscow 55 years ago. Her feet failed her when she gave birth to her son and now she stays at home for most of the time. Katya 22 and Max 26 moved to Moscow two years ago and rented an apartment in a dormitory area of the city. This family moved from Novosibirsk 5 years ago. Lidiya Mihaylovna 56 and Leonid Sergeevich 63 live together with their children. Dany 26 moved from Spain and now rents an apartment with his friend Alexy in downtown Moscow, where they study and work. Alexy (Dany's friend) 22 arrived from France. It's rather cheaper and more comfortable for them to rent an apartment together. Olga Alexeevna 69 is a native Muscovite and inherited her apartment from her aunt. Evdokiya Egorovna 85, bought this apartment in 1975 with her husband. After his death, she now lives alone. Valentina 63, got her flat in an exchange 20 years ago.
