At the age of 83, Russian clown Oleg Popov has been called the oldest performing clown in the world. His circus
career started almost 70 years ago and he still tours and has no plans to hang up his trademark red nose. Oleg Popov
was one of the most popular clowns in the Soviet Union during the second half of the 20th century. For the last twenty
years he has lived in Germany with his second wife Gabrielle Lehmann. In spring 2014 the legendary Soviet clown
presented his new circus show and went on a new tour to Germany.
