I began shooting for The Observer 15 years ago and have been a regular contributor ever since. Here is a selection
of portraits that I have shot for them over this time.
Many of my commissions have taken place in hotel rooms or studios, which explains the simplistic settings. Due to
the nature of the job the challenge is to connect with the subject to create an engaging portrait in the short allotted
time. Some thing which I have been refining over the years.
