Ever since I can remember, I have always been seduced by the lure of a beautiful image. I am not what you would call
an avid reader... preferring to consume imagery with unapologetic greed. It's a language that comes naturally to me
and it's the best way that I know of expressing my thoughts and ideas. In a sophisticated and often visually confusing
world, my passion is to capture moments the cut through that chaos. Searching for those moments, has become a
lifelong fascination. If I were a writer it would be the equivalent of distilling a mish-mash of ideas, into an eloquent,
memorable and beautifully crafted sentence. My goal is to create images that invite my audience to enjoy the sense of
excitement that I felt when I took the picture. To provide them with an overwhelming sense of 'being there’. Quite
literally, to put them in the picture. And my subject matter is as varied as it can be unusual. I am as happy in a
landscape as I am, walking the streets. What fascinates me is the potential to create images that communicate some
aspect of our world in a way that is individual. A personal statement about who we are and how we live our lives.
