Golden rules - who needs them?
Everybody.
And everybody has his own collection.
They may be related to this world - society, money, power, our body, our mind, sex,
love, inner and outer peace - or they are related to the next world, the bigger picture if
you will - religion and spirituality.
There is an endless number of possible combinations between them and everybody
struggles to apply them to their everyday life and tries to stick to them.
There are crossovers between this and the next world and terrible misunderstandings
or misinterpretations of religious guidelines that can lead to immense suffering.
But without guidelines of any sort life is not possible and most of the rules make a lot
of sense. To put together one´s own collection is rewarding, fulfilling and underlies
lifelong development.
There are thousands of books, big and small, complicated and simplistic and this series of 36 rules is a crossection
without any claim to completeness and not to be taken too serious.
This - by the way - might be rule no. 37: "don´t take yourself too serious".
