Jay Wolke is an artist and educator living in Chicago Illinois. His photographic
monographs include: All Around the House: Photographs of American-Jewish
Communal Life, 1998; Along the Divide: Photographs of the Dan Ryan Expressway,
2004; Architecture of Resignation: Photographs from the Mezzogiorno, 2011 and
Same Dream Another Time, 2017. His works have been exhibited internationally and
are in the permanent print collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, New
York MOMA, the Art Institute of Chicago and the San Francisco MOMA, among
others. His photographs have appeared in numerous publications including The New
York Times Magazine, The Financial Times Magazine, Geo France, Exposure,
Newsweek, Fortune, and the Village Voice. From 1992-1999 he was Coordinator of
Graduate Documentary Photography at the Institute of Design, IIT. In 1999-2000
Wolke served as Head of Art and Graduate Studies at Studio Art Centers
Peter Dazeley

Peter Dazeley BEM FRPS, known as Dazeley, is a London based award-winning
fine art and advertising photographer, writer and collector. Born in West Kensington,
he studied photography at Holland Park Comprehensive (known as the Socialist
Eton).
In the Queen’s 2017 New Year’s Honours list he was recognised for his services to
photography and charity. He is a life member of the Association of Photographers
and in 2013 he was awarded a Fellowship from The Royal Photographic Society,
which is the highest distinction of the RPS and recognises original work and
outstanding ability. He has produced four books: 21st Century Platinum 2003,
Unseen London 2014, London Uncovered 2016 and London Theatres 2017. A 2nd
Edition of his highly successful book Unseen London was published in Oct 2017.
Jonathan Moller

Born in 1963 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Jonathan “Jonás” Moller is a documentary
– fine art photographer and human rights activist. He studied at the School of the
Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Tufts
University in 1990.
Joshua Lutz

Joshua Lutz is an artist and educator working primarily in Photography and text. His
monographs include Meadowlands and Hesitating Beauty. Lutz’s books have been
named Best Art Books by Time Magazine, Photo District News, PhotoEye among
others. Awards and Fellowships include The Aaron Siskind Fellowship, American
Photography, Hudson Year Fellowship, Tierney Fellowship, Communication Arts,
PDN 30. Solo shows include Clamp Art (New York), Koch Gallery (San Francisco),
Blue Sky Lutz (Portland) Robert Morat (Hamburg), Robert Morat (Berlin). He has
served on the faculty for The MFA Program at Bard College, The International
Center of Photography, Pratt Institute and is currently a Professor of Photography
at SUNY Purchase. His newest book Mind The Gap, 2017 addresses the space
between thinking something is one thing only to eventually understand it to be
something altogether quite different.

My photographic life began during my Junior year as a Graphic Arts major at Pratt
Institute. Required to take an Introduction to Photography course that I had no
interest in taking, since my passion was painting.
To my surprise, by the middle of my Junior year, I was addicted and have been ever
since.
It has been my profession, my life diary, my salvation, my adventure, my love, my
identity, as well as my sanity. There is a lesson to be learned somewhere in this
story.

André Lützen, born in 1963 in Hamburg, studied visual communication at the
Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg (Academy of fine arts) and at the
International Center of Photography New York. André Lützen has received various
awards for his work. His photographs have been exhibited in numerous museums
and festivals, including Haus der Photographie/Deichtorhallen, Hamburg; Krefelder
Kunstmuseen; Hamburger Kunsthalle; Noorderlicht Photo Gallery Groningen; the
New York Photo Festival; Photo España; and the photo festival “Les Boutographies”
in Montpellier. He taught photography at the Muthesius Hochschule in Kiel and the
Folkwang Hochschule in Essen. His photography has been published in several
monographs: Generation Boul Fale (2001), Loch im Kopf (2005), Before Elvis there
was nothing (2008), Public Private Hanoi (2010), Zhili Byli (2014) und Inside Out
Franziska Hauser

Franziska Hauser (b. 1975 in Berlin-East) studied set design and photography at the
Berlin-Weissensee School of Art and Design and with Arno Fischer at
Schiffbauerdamm. She hast wo children. In 2008 she started writing for Berliner
Zeitung, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Nido, Brigitte, Das Magazin, taz, Der
Freitag, die Welt and other publications. Her first novel Sommerdreieck (Summer
Triangle), published 2015 by Rowohlt, came out at the same time as this book of
photography, published by Kehrer. Her second novel „Die Gewitterschwimmerin“
come out in march 2018, published by Eichborn.
John Bartelstone

John Bartelstone (b.1956) is a New York based architectural photographer. He
originally trained as a recording engineer at Syracuse University’s Newhouse
School. After working in the recording industry for a few years, he enrolled in the
Master of Architecture program at Columbia University and upon graduation, began
a ten-year architecture career. In 1996 he started a new life as a freelance
architectural photographer.

I'm Steve Parke, I live in Baltimore, and I've been taking photos since i got my hands
on a little box camera when I was a kid. My clients have included firms like Warner
Brothers, HBO, Discovery Channel, Arista Records, DC/Vertigo Comics, Houghton
Mifflin, and NBC, plus a bunch of A-list entertainers like Prince, David Bowie, Bon
Jovi, Bob Dylan, Victor Wooten, Sheila E., AC/DC, and plenty of others. I was
actually Prince's art director for 14 years, and designed albums, stage sets,
merchandise and did all kinds of other jobs aside from taking photos that ended up
in places like Spanish Vogue, Time magazine, Rolling Stone, etc. It was an
interesting time, as you can imagine!
But I don't only work with musicians and rock stars. I love capturing beauty in all its
forms and specialize in making people comfortable in front of the camera and

Adam Wiseman was born and brought up in Mexico City by an American father and Scottish mother. Educated in New
York as a documentary photographer, Wiseman has spent most of his career travelling across Mexico on assignment
for such international newspapers and magazines as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Wallpaper and Guardian.
International, Florence, Italy. He is currently a Professor of Photography at Columbia College Chicago, where he was Chair
of the Art and Design Department from 2000-2005 and again from 2008-2013.
Dazeley’s personal work is an on-going journey of discovery never without a camera, he is constantly active promoting his
passion for the photographic image to inspire and excite a new younger audience. He is a meticulous planner and
imaginative problem solver and has pioneered many photographic techniques that have become the norm. "Making the
ordinary look extraordinary is Dazeley's gift" says Sarah Ryder Richardson, who represents Dazeley in the UK.

your back yard for your family reunion. (I'm also an expert retoucher, just in case; my retouch skills have been used
on well known musicians and on HBO DVD releases such as The Sopranos and Six Feet Under.)
I'm happy to travel anywhere to be there for your special day or event. If it's outside the Baltimore/DC area, we'll
negotiate travel. I also, by the way, really love photographing kids and pets, as you can see some of the photos of my
son Duncan on this site.
I do other work, too. I've designed albums (this Sheila E vinyl is one of my favorites), DVD packages, ads, you name it.
I've worked for corporate clients like Kennedy Krieger and ERFS. I've shot for numerous magazines and am the on-call
photographer for Faerie Magazine.
I was the digital artist for first-of-its-kind graphic novel I, Paparazzi, which was published by DC/Vertigo Comics and
received an A from Entertainment Weekly, and did the photography for the first-ever all-digitally-photographed
graphic novel In the Shadow of Edgar Allan Poe, which was nominated alongside Stephen King and IDW’s 30 Days of
Night for YALSA’s best horror novel in 2005. I've collaborated on several other book projects and more are in the
works! Oh, and my photos have been shown at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
Linda Troeller

Linda Troeller is an awarding winning photographer with projects such as TB-
AIDES DIARY, Healing Waters book, Aperture, and first place Jacuzzi Calistoga
Pictures of the Year in Spa Jouneys, PowerHouse; Erotic Lives of Women book,
Scalo. She is published in the New York Times and collected by the Museum of Fine
Arts, Houston with solo shows such as Galerie Suzel Berna, Paris; Havana Biannual
to the Greek Photo Festival. Her new book is "Living in the Chelsea Hotel," Schiffer.
She has a MFA, MS from Syracuse University and BS from WVU..
