Michelle Fay Nowitz is a multi media artist, poet, and photographer and daughter of National Geographic  photographer, Richard Nowitz (who also features in this issue). Here she has selected works from some of her favourite series, including her Silhouette Series and Projection Series, as well as some of her mixed media collage work and her favorite photographic images. “Photography has always interested and inspired me but I wanted to take it a step further and explore other ways of expressing myself rather than just with a camera.” Her art has steadily grown more complex, drawing on photography as a base point for her work, but altering the context and effect of her images.
