This set represents my favourite field of photography: Wildlife and animals. During the last four years, I have had the privilege of living and working in different parts of the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland and Austria where I have taken many pictures. I have a great love for nature and a special fascination for wildlife. The presence of wildlife makes me feel humbled and it is a privilege to be able to represent their beauty and dignity. Each picture reflects a special moment of my life, too. My photography work is personal and emotional. Through my photographs, I aim to get in touch with my subject and later on with the people I share it with. Every individual, whether it may be a human or an animal, has a life of its own and my photography bears witness to their fascinating story. For that I often have to spend hours, even days, waiting and observing. Its is my aim to become ‘invisible’, like a part of the natural environment in order to capture natural behaviour.
