This is a document of the life of border communities geographically located on the north side of the Dominican Republic and bordering with the neighboring country of Haiti.To date, these communities are forgotten by the Dominican government and only receive assistance from international organizations working in the area educating farmers to capitalize best on their land. Agriculture is the main source of income but this is affected by the lack of water and deforestation plaguing the area as a result of global warming.
