Water for Elephants

I always thought that my life as a movie still photographer was like being in a circus.
We have a very similar life style to Circus Folk. We travel all over the world, we move from one community to
another, get to know a few new people and where they live, then move on to another destination. The result of
all that moving? The same as the Circus world; to entertain, to take people out of their everyday lives and to
let them escape for a couple of hours of fantasy.
The only difference is that the Circus performs its show in the Big Top, we show our efforts in a movie theatre.
Working side by side with a real circus was amazing. Our clowns were not actors pretending to be clowns,
they were the real thing. Mix our very talented cast amongst with theirs, and our crew with their crew, you
couldn't tell one from the other.
Every movie should be that much fun.
